MarioxBunge empezó a mediados de 2014 en Posadas Misiones. Está compuesto por Matt Suarez Holze (bajo, guitarra y voz) y Juan Andrés (batería). Sin embargo existe una leyenda que dice que los verdaderos integrantes son el filósofo Mario Bunge como cantante, James Randi en Guitarra, Carl Sagan en batería y Karl Popper en bajo.
El Facebook de la banda fue denunciado por la mujer del auténtico Mario Bunge por lo cual la banda quedo olvidada y marginada como se lo mereció desde un principio.
Es la primer banda y hasta ahora única del genero Escepti-core. Genero que combina el power-violence con la filosofía escéptico-racional.
